We stumbled upon a poster of Karan Johar's new production Kurbaan starring Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor , on the Mumbai daily Mid-Day.
Directed by debutant director Rensil D'Silva (who co-wrote Rang De Basanti, the film is a romantic story against the backdrop of terrorism. Om Puri plays a terrorist, and the film also stars Vivek Oberoi.
Our sources say the film has some steamy lovemaking scenes. And, we must say, the poster looks very bold!
Kurbaan, shot in Philadelphia, Delhi and Mumbai, is scheduled to release on November 27.

A Delhi-based NGO on Thursday complained to Minister of State for Women and Child Development (WCD) Krishna Tirath against NDTV Imagine's upcoming reality show Pati Patni Aur Woh citing health hazards to newborns and toddlers who feature in it.
The Uday Foundation made the written complaint for Congenital Defects & Rare Blood Groups (Trust) against the show that is set to premiere on the channel on September 28.
"We have also sent a copy of our complaint to Information and Broadcasting Minister Ambika Soni, the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) and Ministry of Labour," Rahul Varma, co-founder and managing trustee of the Uday Foundation.

Pati Patni Aur Woh is about parenting. Right from living the life of an eight-month pregnant woman to taking care of an infant, a toddler, and a teenager - the show will see five couples doing it all.
Rakhi Sawant-Elesh Parujanwala, Shilpa Saklani-Apurva Agnihotri, Juhi Parmar-Sachin Shroff, Mouni Roy-Gaurav Chopra and onscreen couple Gurmeet Chaudhary-Debina Bonnerjee are participating in the show.
The format is inspired by international reality show Baby Borrowers and is being produced by BBC Worldwide Productions India.
"We hope you will agree that it is completely unethical to exploit young children [new born & toddler] in the pursuit of entertainment. Moreover as mentioned in NDTV's press release, even though the parents of these young children are watching via closed-circuit television, the babies are not aware of that and have no way of knowing how long the parents will be gone," said the letter.
"Separating babies and toddlers from their parents for extended periods of time can lead children to feel distress and anxiety. After prolonged separation, a child can feel distrust for his/her primary caregiver and also separation can damage a healthy attachment and a child's sense of safety.
"We fear that this programme would lead babies to feel acute distress, ignored or manhandled," it further said.

Riya Sen was recently spotted with a new guy at two separate events in the past few days. First, at Salman Khan's Eid party; then at the ongoing fashion week in Mumbai.
Reveals a source, "Riya has just met this guy. Not much is known about him. But the couple seems to have hit it off very well and that's the only reason Riya is tagging him along everywhere she goes. They were seen constantly holding hands and appeared quite close after dashing out of Salman's Eid party."
Riya maintains, "I'm not dating anyone. I was with my friend Aushima and two of our very close childhood friends. Also, if I do start dating someone, I won't be embarrassed and hide it."
When asked about the new guy she was snapped in the backseat of a car with, she retorts, "Must be a family friend; why? I don't know what picture are you talking about. Relax. I am single and happy being so."

After pixelating Neil Nitin Mukesh's nude scene in Jail, Madhur Bhandarkar has now deleted the masturbation scene that was part of the film before. The director does not want to take any risk with the censor board and end up getting an A or U/A certificate for his movie.
A source from the unit reveals: "Madhur, known as a director of realistic cinema tends to reveal every aspect related to the subject he is working on. With Jail, the director has shot and exposed the insides of a prisoner's life behind the bars. As per the script, the main protagonist, Neil, was required to do some bold scenes."
"Madhur made Neil shoot for the scene but has now decided to delete the same while sitting on the edit table. Although the scenes expose the reality, Madhur doesn't want to take any risk with the censor board and fall into any kind of controversy. This time around he wants to play safe with his movie unlike the last time where Fashion got a U/A certificate," added the source.
Madhur confirmed the report saying: "Yes, I have deleted Neil's masturbation scene."

The latest from Karan Johar is an urban tale - definitely not something you'll expect Rani Mukerji and a sunflower field in!
This is the story of Sidharth Mehra (Ranbir Kapoor), a lazy, unmotivated slacker from Mumbai whose life undergoes a series of changes after taking his final year college exams.
Sid's world is breezy, carefree and without any true responsibilities. The most important elements in his life are his friends, his camera, his car, and his X-box 360 gaming console.
