Lafangey Parindey’ Promotional Event .Mumbai, Aug 13 Actors Neil Nitin Mukesh and Deepika Padukone, the lead pair of ‘Lafangey Parindey’ promoted their film through an engrossing dance performance here on Thursday. Directed by Pradeep Sarkar and produced by Aditya Chopra, the movie’s plot revolves around an edgy love story involving a street boxer who fights blind folded and the visually challenged heroine who wants to make it big as a dancer. The cast of the film interacted with media persons and their fans at a street corner in Mumbai city.

Several of the Superstar's fans are upset with him! Not because he has not joined politics as yet... that is an old and ongoing issue. This time, it is because of something that he said at the Enthiran (also known as Endhiran) music launch in Malaysia.

Enthiran, produced by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner and directed by Shankar, is one of the biggest and most awaited movies not just for Tamil audiences, but for movie enthusiasts all over India and even all over the world.

At the music launch, when Rajinikanth came on stage to talk about the movie and his experience working in it, he said the real stars of the movie are Kalanithi Maran, Shankar, A.R. Rahman and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. This humble comment has upset his fans who felt that their Thalaivar was underestimating his position as the Superstar.

We all know that Rajni has always been very humble; maybe his humility and sometimes over-humility has made his fans feel that he is letting them down. What can we say, except that irrespective of what the Superstar says, it cannot be denied that Enthiran is such a huge film not because it is one of the most expensive movies in India or it will be have the widest release ever for an Indian film or it brings together some of the biggest names in Indian cinema.

Bollywood actor Salman Khan has taken the entire media into frenzy by signing on to become the host of celebrity reality show Bigg Boss season 4.

There were speculations that the host for this season would be Shah Rukh, or Aamir, Akshay Kumar, or Sanjay Dutt. Some went to the extreme of speculating that it would be cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, who would become the host for the reality show!

However, the entire gamut has been put to a final stop, as Sallu, who has already enthralled audiences with the hosting of 'Dus Ka Dum' perfectly, and in his own style, has admitted to many a media reps that even the Bigg Boss reality show will be done in his own unique style!

Thus, it seems, this season of Bigg Boss is really going to be one big breezy affair!

Salman, who is quite an emotional person at heart, has also admitted that he would support the true spirited and the people who did not play vicious game on the show.

Bollywood actress Preity Zinta will ring the opening bell of the world's biggest stock exchange, NASDAQ, in New York.

"Yeah! I am invited for the opening bell ceremony at NASDAQ Tuesday morning," Preity confirmed on her Twitter page.

"Hope you can list one of my companies there someday! Ting! Now I'm excited!" added the actress, who is the co-owner of Indian Premier League (IPL) team Kings XI Punjab.

The actress was in New York to attend the India Day Parade for India's 63th Independence Day.

Earlier this year, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol became the first Indian actors to ring the opening bell of NASDAQ, before the release of their film My Name Is Khan.

Her first first attempt at stardom in Luck was a big fiasco. So now Ghajini director A.R. Murugadoss has been asked to create an impressive re-launch film for the pretty actress.

Murugadoss admits that his multilingual film Ezham Arivu (The Seventh Sense) is planned as a re-launch for Shruti in Bollywood.

"It is a medical thriller with some of the most costly special effects ever done in southern cinema. We want to take the sci-fi to a new level in the South. Shruti has a very powerful role and yes, we're hoping it would launch her career in Hindi cinema," said Murugadoss.

The story goes that Murugadoss had gone to Kamal Haasan to collaborate on a project. Instead Kamal suggested that he work with Shruti whose experience in Mumbai was far from satisfying.

That's how Murugadoss ended up signing Shruti opposite Suriya in the Tamil Ezham Arivu (The Seventh Sense). Originally the film was meant to be in Tamil and Telugu. But now a Hindi version is also being made. It will be made in Tamil Nadu.

The actress' Hindi launch Luck starred Imran Khan, a close family friend of Sarika's and Shruti's. Sarika and her two daughters used to stay with Imran's mom during her earlier visits to Mumbai.
